JokeGPT is an iPhone app that tells jokes — a library of clean one-liners plus a few features that write custom jokes, rap lyrics, and ice breakers for you.

JokeGPT is meant to be family friendly. If you come across a joke that seems offensive, inappropriate, or unsuitable for children, please tell us.
Email jokegpt@gmail.com with the joke text — a screenshot works too — and which part of the app it appeared in. We review every report and remove anything that shouldn't be there.
Some features generate jokes on the fly using an AI model, so they can occasionally produce something we haven't seen before. Reports are the fastest way we find those, and they genuinely help.
No. There's no sign-up, no login, and no profile.
Random Jokes does — that library lives on your device. Custom Dad Jokes, Custom Rap Lyrics, and Ice Breaker Topic need an internet connection, because they generate new content each time.
Almost always a network problem. Check your connection and try again. If it keeps happening, email us.
No. JokeGPT has no advertising and no in-app purchases.

Nothing. JokeGPT has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind. We do not operate servers that store your information, and we never sell or share personal data — because we do not collect any.
Three features — Custom Dad Jokes, Custom Rap Lyrics, and Ice Breaker Topic — send the word or phrase you type to OpenAI's API so a joke can be written for it. That text is transmitted over an encrypted connection and is used only to generate your response. Handling of that data is covered by OpenAI's privacy policy.
Random Jokes sends nothing anywhere. That library is bundled with the app and read entirely on your device.
Please don't type personal or sensitive information into the joke prompts.
The jokes shown during a session live in the app's memory and are cleared when you close it. Nothing is uploaded, backed up to us, or shared with anyone.
JokeGPT is intended for a general audience, and its joke library has been reviewed to keep it family friendly. We do not knowingly collect information from children — or from anyone else.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
